Annual Meeting of the German Society of Limnology
The 33rd annual meeting of the German Society of Limnology takes place at the Brandenburg University of Technology in Cottbus-Senftenberg this year.
The slogan of the conference is “Waters in the Change of the Landscape” and should point out the challenges in science and water management, which occur during large-scale and use-related changes in the landscape.
bbe will be represented there with a booth and a presentation about our new instrument series - the Phyco series.
The bbe Phyco instruments are capable of distinguishing the phycocyanin which exists in the inside of intact cells and at the outside of damaged cells. With this method the amount of unwanted substances which may have left the damaged cyanobacteria can be estimated. This new developed devices are available in three different designs: as submersible probe, as cuvette instrument for the laboratory and as online instrument.
